Youi stands for You Insured. Youi operates mainly online, but also has a call-centre. It is based on the Queensland Sunshine Coast and has been operating in Australia since 2008.
Youi is an Australian registered company and underwrites its own policies. It’s a subsidiary of OUTInsurance International Holding which is part of South African Rand Merchant Insurance Holdings Group.
Youi underwrites Blue Zebra insurance, which sells its insurance products through brokers.
Compared with other insurers in our customer satisfaction survey, Youi rates above average for home insurance and can third in the overall satisfaction rating for car insurance.
