Users have the option to sign up to Pepper Leaf with a weekly subscription or to make a one-time purchase. It is easy to sign up as a new customer, with only a minimum amount of personal details needed initially. There isn't an extensive range of meals to choose from each week and there is limited information provided in regards to ingredients, method, cooking time and allergens when making your selection. Only once the meals have been added to your cart, can you then select each recipe for further details, however this may not be obvious. The customer portal is accessible via a magic link which is sent to your inbox. You will need to request access each time you wish to view your account or make any changes to your meal selection or customer details. The customer portal is fairly basic and not self explanatory in terms of upcoming deliveries. The recipe cards are provided in the box at delivery and shows ingredient quantities for 1, 2, 4 and 6 people, which can be a little confusing. The cooking times stated can be misleading as this does not include the list of preparation steps shown at the top of the recipe card.
