Everyplate is affiliated with Hello Fresh and is the cheaper meal kit option. Marketed as a lower cost meal kit with 'Easy home cooking, dinners from $2.99/ plate.' A selection of meals are included in the initial costing but there are also a selection of 'premium meals' that incur an additional cost per serve, so customers need to be aware of this when making their meal selection if they are conscious of budget. There is a fairly good selection of meals each week however there were only 2 fish options to choose from at the time of testing, so not as much variety as some of the other meal kits. Depending on your selected recipes you may need to have a few more pantry items on hand, so be sure to check before your order arrives. Most of the recipes have a time frame for cooking, such as 30-40 mins, which can give customers a more realistic expectation as cooking time can vary depending on an individuals cooking expertise and can also depend on the type of kitchen appliances being used. For example an air fryer can heat up quicker than your oven.
