Marley Spoon claims to provide 'high-quality ingredients straight from the farm to your door.' Before signing up to a weekly subscription, customers are able to view the weekly menu for the upcoming 4 weeks, which allows you to get a sense of the type of meals and what to expect in terms of variety, cooking time and cuisines. There are a good range of filters that can help when selecting your meals for the week. Filter by dietary requirements, protein type, price category, cook time, easy & quick, dish type, cuisine, allergens and chefs. This helps to make it quick and easy to find meals targeted to individual needs. Some of the recipes can also be customised if you wish to swap and change protein type. The recipe cards are fairly easy to follow with photos that help at each step. From the 3 recipes that were selected there was quite a bit of washing up at the end as a few different pans and pots were needed.
