As a freelance journalist for CHOICE, it's my role to ask the big questions on behalf of Australian consumers and provide readers with a deeper understanding of the many issues that affect them to navigate the consumer market with confidence and knowledge of their rights and responsibilities.
To this end, I regularly interview some of Australia's most renowned experts and authorities on health and nutrition, sustainability and recycling, marketing and sales, home renovations and appliances and much more. I also review and compare products and offer plenty of tips and tricks on how to get the best value for your money when it comes to investing in products and services in Australia.
I've been a journalist for 15 years, writing and editing in the busy newsrooms of daily newspapers, the offices of national magazines and my desk at home for online publications and corporate clients.
On graduating with an arts degree from The University of Melbourne and a graduate diploma in editing and publishing from RMIT University, I went on to work with some of the world's best-known book publishers in Australia, New Zealand and the UK before making the transition from book publishing to mainstream media.
I was a member of CHOICE long before I began writing for the publication in 2018. Passionate about consumer rights and advocacy, I'm proud to be part of a team of like-minded individuals whose work demands accountability and fairness from service providers and product producers and can make a genuine difference in the lives of all Australians.
