I'm the director of campaigns and communications. I divide my team between helping our campaigners fight for better laws and working to help our experts get their message to the world through the media or social media.
I originally joined CHOICE as a policy and campaigns adviser. I started out calling for fairer treatment for people in the credit card market and fighting for financial advisers to treat customers fairly.
My favourite thing about working at CHOICE is that we're focused on what's right for people and make change by working with people. Whether we're talking about banking, health or the housing market, our goal is to get a fair outcome for consumers. We make change because more than 200,000 people like you work with us to persuade businesses and governments to do better.
I previously worked in policy and government-relations roles for other not-for-profits, including the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN).
I have a rather unused arts degree with a major in archaeology – and a much more useful Master of Politics and Public Policy.
I'm also a board member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and the Chair of the Financial Rights Legal Centre board.
