When tested to the latest portable cot safety standards, we’ve found that the majority of portacots have multiple safety failures. But we do find ones to recommend.

Our lab test results will show you the portacots that:

  • pass important safety tests that look for mattress firmness and good airflow as per the Australian standard for folding cots (AS/NZS 2195:2010)
  • are the lightest to carry
  • are easy to fold, unfold and pack away.

Check our list of the latest portable cots we’ve tested that fail our key safety tests, and read more about our call for stronger product safety laws.
