New on the market is an environmentally friendly range of cleaning cloths from Vileda.
Sustainability is the focus of the Vileda Naturals range, with the cloths being made from renewable and biodegradable materials.
CHOICE tested the Vileda Naturals All Purpose Cloth wich is made from renewable resources ($2.69) and overall was unhappy with its cleaning performance, but as it's not a microfibre cloth we can't directly compare its performance to other products in this test.
It performed well on average on bathroom surfaces, OK on average for dusting and OK for mirrors, but was poor on average on kitchen and stainless steel surfaces. When cleaning, it cannot handle grease, leaves behind lint and streaks and still relies on chemicals, cleaning only a few surfaces without them.
