05.Sweet biscuits

While also great to nibble on the run, biscuits can contain large amounts of fat and sugar. Look for biscuits that are lower in these undesirables and comes in a controlled portion, as it’s easy to overindulge. A good rule of thumb is if it looks like a chocolate bar or giant cookie, treat it as an indulgence (see Snack vs. Indulgence). Look for biscuits with less than 20g of total fat and 5g of saturated fat per 100g. Also check how big the portion size is – a giant cookie can house as many kilojoules and as much fat as an entire meal. A 30g portion or less is plenty.
