01.How to Cook a Tuna Steak
1 x 300g tuna steak (approximately 2.5 cm thick)
Cracked black pepper
- Preheat a chargrill plate or a large frypan for 3 minutes on high.
- Oil and salt tuna steak and place onto chargrill for 5 minutes, turn and cook a further 3 minutes.
- Finish off with olive oil, lemon juice and cracked black pepper.
Tuna steak should be a vibrant red colour with little smell. Not slimy and not too much thick sinew.
