Test results for 10 cots from $350 to $600

We tested for:

  • Safety and durability against the updated Australian / New Zealand Standard.
  • Information and labelling as set out by the updated Australian / New Zealand Standard.
  • Ease of use and features – including dropsides, castors and brakes.

Please note: this information was current as of August 2006 but is still a useful guide to today's market. For more recent information, see our Cots review 2012.


Findings:
  • Eight of the models we tested this time had no major failures – a large improvement on our last test of cots in 2005.
  • One cot complied with all the applicable requirements.
