In our traditional blenders test, we make potato and leek soup to assess the blender's ability to produce a uniform puree with no lumps of potato or leek. We chop carrot and crush ice to assess the blender's ability to chop and crush evenly. The performance score accounts for 60% of the overall score.
In March 2015 we introduced green smoothie and kale tests for our blenders. To ensure fair comparison with previously tested models, these tests haven't yet been incorporated into the overall score. You can view these scores separately.
