Current campaigns

  • Fix the banks

It's time for the companies we trust with our money to stop taking advantage of us. Join the fight to keep the banks accountable.
  • Easier refunds for faulty new cars

Sign the petition to call on major car companies like Mazda and Ford to treat you fairly with a 60-day refund policy.
  • Stronger product safety laws

The things we buy shouldn't put us or our families at risk. Urge the ministers in charge to introduce laws to ensure products sold in Australia are safe.
  • Support fairer food labelling

Can you email your Health Minister to show them people care about food labels that show honest Health Stars and clearly identify added sugar?
  • Help improve unit pricing

If you're sick of seeing specials offering discounts of $0 and price tags that don't add up, join our calls to make unit pricing work better for you.
  • Safe food for our pets

Dodgy pet food could be making our cats and dogs sick. Join us in calling for pet food regulation to help keep them safe from harm.
  • Better health insurance

The first step to fixing our private health insurance system is to investigate what's going wrong right now and find solutions that benefit all Australians.
  • Your refund rights

When something breaks or doesn't work, you should get a refund. Sign our petition to show that you want stronger consumer rights.
  • Fairer rules for renters

Add your voice to let federal politicians know that we need fair and nationally consistent rules for Australian renters.
  • Bad egg boycott

If you shell out for free-range eggs, you deserve the real deal. Join the campaign for better free-range egg standards and happier hens.

What we do

Take action

  • Demand easier refunds for lemon cars

Despite being one of the biggest purchases you'll make in your lifetime, it's often easier to get a refund for any other product than it is for a faulty new car.

We think when you buy a new car and it's defective, you should be offered a refund without the runaround. That's why we're calling on the top 10 car makers to commit to the 60-day refund policy, so that if you get stuck with a lemon, your rights are protected.
