I've been a senior policy adviser at Super Consumers Australia at CHOICE since June 2019. My job is getting into the weeds on technical policy matters – to evaluate whether ideas to change super will deliver better outcomes for consumers.
Much of my work is consulting, coordinating and writing our submissions to government and supporting our advocacy work. I previously worked at Industry Super Australia on underpayment of super, where I completed the Australian Institute of Science and Technology (AIST) training RG146 for superannuation.
Originally from New Zealand, I've also worked in China, Thailand and the USA, where I was a contributor to The Economist, writing about technology and sport.
I've been living in Australia since 2013, working in and around politics, with a focus on superannuation, banking and financial services.
I like cycling and daydreaming about travel.
