01.Turkey meat balls
Ingredients
Serves: 24 bite sized meatballs or 4 burger size meat patties
500g turkey mince
½ onion, finely diced (cook for 3 minutes, optional)
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ tablespoon smoked paprika
¼ cup chives, copped finely
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Combine all ingredients.
- Roll into desired shape, small golf ball sizes work well.
- Shallow fry in olive oil until golden brown and cooked (approximately 8–10 minutes depending on shape).
Tips
- Turkey has zero fat so avoid over cooking as the meat can dry out.
- Turkey can be substituted with pork, veal or chicken.
