Ingredients


1 fresh egg, refrigerated
Olive oil


 

Poached eggs

Method

  • Rub the surface of a non-stick frypan with paper towel soaked in a little olive oil.
  • Heat the pan on medium high for 1 minute.
  • Crack egg into a small bowl and pour egg into pan. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Place 2 tablespoons of water in the pan and cover for approximately 2-3 minutes for a runny egg yolk.

Tips 

A fresh egg will have thick white albumen surrounding the yolk.
