What are the hazards?
In the the Tiger 800 and the Tiger 800XC, the centre stand may contact the road surface during use, increasing the potential for an accident. In the Tiger 800, Tiger 800 ABS, Tiger 800XC and Tiger 800XC ABS, the engine may stall on deceleration as well.
What are the defects?
In the the Tiger 800 and the Tiger 800XC, the centre stand return spring has been seen to fracture. In the Tiger 800, Tiger 800 ABS, Tiger 800XC and Tiger 800XC ABS, there is incorrect engine management calibration as well.

What should consumers do?
Owners of affected motorcycles will be contacted by letter. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Triumph dealership for inspection and replacement of the return spring or for inspection and installation of new engine software, if necessary.
