Product description

Stretchable black rubber tie down strap, with distinctive quick grip hooks at either end. Available in sizes 10", 15", 21" and 31".

Identifying features

Part numbers: 74-010, 74-0150, 74-021 and 74-031.

What are the hazards?

The required yellow warning label may rip, tear or detach from the rubber strap.

What are the defects?

The rubber strap does not comply with the mandatory standard for elastic luggage straps, as specified in the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standards) Regulations 1979. The required yellow warning label may not be made of sufficiently durable material.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should immediately stop using the Rubber Straps and inspect the label. If the yellow warning label can be easily ripped, torn or removed, the consumer should return the Rubber Straps to their place of purchase for a full refund or replacement. If the yellow warning label cannot be easily ripped, torn or removed, the Rubber Strap is compliant.
