Go4Green recalled

The death knell has sounded for one Shonky-award winning dud - the so-called Go4Green EnergySmart device. 

The ACCC has announced a recall, warning consumers that it emits an electric shock when both pins are touched after the product is unplugged. 

One CHOICE staffer found this out the hard way.

Consumers who have purchased the device should return it to their place of purchase for a full refund – just as well, as our testing found that it’s about as effective as snake oil. 

Those who bought it from daily deals websites can contact those sites directly.
