01.Is this the iPhone Air?

An Australian blogger has leaked pics claimed to be of the eagerly awaited Apple iPhone 6, clearly showing two new models in different sizes, side by side.

The pictures add credibility to claims that the new models will have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens.

Melbourne-based Sonny Dickson is the same blogger who accurately leaked details of last year's iPhone 5S model. It is believed the new idevice will be called the iPhone Air and will be available in several colours, including gold.

The photos are thought to be of mockups of the handset, used so that accessory manufacturers can make cases and other products that fit it properly in time for the expected September release date.

The blogger released pics of both the front and back of the new models. The latest tweets also add credibility to leaked images from Taiwanese celebrity Jimmy Lin, which showed alleged iPhone 6 models in two sizes.

As we reported earlier, the iPhone 6 models are expected to not only be bigger but also feature a screen resolution 50% higher than the 5/5S models. The increase in the pixel resolution of an iPhone 6 screen to 1704 by 960 pixels would allow the phone to retain its Retina Display tag across both models, despite the increases in size.

Apple didn’t unveil the new phones as predicted at its Worldwide Developer Conference, in early June, instead showcasing changes to the iPhone operating system, iOS8, along with Mac OS X.

Apple is expected to release the phones in an as yet unannounced special event closer to release date.

As well as the bigger screens, the iPhone 6 model are tipped to possibly have a super-hard sapphire crystal screen, liquid-metal body and faster, energy-efficient new A8 processor.
