01.Submission to DAFF
December 2010, CHOICE made a submission to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestries regarding proposed reforms for better regulation of agriculture and veterinary chemicals.
CHOICE believes there are three things these reforms should deliver:
- An overarching strategy for pre and post-market chemical regulation which sets out future direction for the industry.
- An improved governance framework.
- More resourcing for the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).
