Pebble watch first look
Note that they had to use a proprietary connector at the watch end of the USB charging cable in order to make the watch waterproof; making a waterproof micro-USB connector would be almost impossible.

Aaron,If it's made by us humans there is no longer such a thing as waterPROOF. Today most self respecting watch manufacturers, for example, including the makers of things like the Omega Seamaster, refer to it as water RESISTANT. Anyone who still refers to waterPROOF is a court case waiting for somewhere to happen, one that they will lose.Enjoy your new camera. :-)

Had the same experience with the Peace and Quiet model. And it actually gets louder as it gets older, to the point it is now impossible to conduct a conversation in competition with it. Talk about false advertising, this is false naming!
