Why did you join CHOICE?
Even before arriving in Australia we wanted to find out the inside story, best deals and lemons so setting up our new life could be done with independent advice.
What section of CHOICE do you read first and why?
I love the product comparisons, but have a chuckle at the Hard Word packaging gaffes and I also enjoy the Thumbs Up - it's good to see great service still exists.
Have you made any CHOICE recommended purchases?
Everything we've purchased has gone through the CHOICE test, sometimes the top-rated product and sometimes the best-value product - TVs, DVD players, dishwashers etc.
Do you recommend products to family and friends?
We have had friends who've emigrated and they get the CHOICE treatment on arrival.
Which CHOICE campaigns have you found to be most important to you?
The Big Bank Switch was the greatest push towards mass consumer power, and also the Health Insurance campaign.
What product/s would you like to see CHOICE put to the test?
SLR Cameras for the keen photographer, car Bluetooth hands-free kits with the new legislation in NSW, ride-on mowers and car batteries.
